1. Brekeke Product Name and Version:3.2.4.3

2. Java version: 1.6.0.45

3. OS type and the version: Linux, CentOS 5

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
Gigaset DX800, Gigaset various

5. Your problem
All sound recordings (VM, voice prompts etc) are empty
(160 byte .ul files) without sound...
Anyone known with this?

Which audio codec are you using?
Does the same problem happen even if you use PCM (G711)?

Do you have enough disk space?

67GB disk space free should be sufficient.

G711 is the codec used that's the queer thing in this case.
We did have a codec problem a few months back because
a phone platform we need to contact with only accepts aLaw
and not uLaw. So we have 8,0 mentioned as available CODEC.
for PBX & Media server.

The phones may all choose 722, 711a, 711u , and 729 if the endpoints both support it.
So i would expect that something must work.

BTW, the voice prompts from Brekeke to the Phone are clear & crisp.
the message spoking into brekeke (either to be used as Announcement message, or name, or personal message, of the voicemail left for someone is not recorded.).

Right choose between codec 8,0 doesn't work for this..
so undid a change needed to get things working with a VOIP provider a few months back. (Provider doesn't do u-law, breke doesn't do a-law... :-( )

Strange this mutual exclusive support for a-law / u-law.
both should work without causing troubles.
