Brekeke to Carousel Problem plz Help

1. Brekeke Product Name and version:
Brekeke Sip Server 2.0.5.8

2. Java version:

3. OS type and the version:
Windows XP SP2

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
X-Lite , Carousel Telephony Adapter by NCH.

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/ ... terns.html :

6. Your problem:
I have set up a Brekeke server on ip 192.168.168.13
I have configured x-lite UA softphones on all network pc's all works fine.

One one of th PC in the network i have setup Carousel Telphony Adapter, i have configured the SIP UA details for it. it registers itself with the sip server as well.
And in the Carousel config, i have mentioned the dialout no. as well.

But whenever i call from any UA on the network to the Carousel's No "007" the call would fail,

But now i am geting Too Many Hops error.. what could be the reason? has anyone used Carousel? is there any dial plan on the brekeke server i need to mention? do advice. as i am quite new here:)

Are you sure the Carousel has been registered in the SIP Server as the number "007"?
Can you see the user "007" in the [Registered Clients] page ?
And is it the correct Contact URI?
What kind of SIP response code or error message did you get when you make a call to "007"?
Do you have any DialPlan rule for Carousel ? If so, paste it here.

Dear Lakeview, highly appreciate your reply....

1. Yes in the sip server 007 has been registered for carousel
2. when i make a call to 007, it says call failed. but on carousel screen i can see it show incoming call, call terminated.
3. I have no dialplans on the sip server, on carousel in the option i ahve mentioned a number 050927**** which is on the outside world, to be dialed when a calls comes in on carousel.

Can you help me with this plz lakeview? i really want to see how it works out.. is there something i have to do the sip server with regards to dialplans? or in carousel anything u might be aware of?

Are you using same Audio Codec in both Carousel and X-Lite?

At the SIP Server's [Active Sessions] page, what kind of [Status] can you see while you are dialing to Carousel ?

Can you make a call from Carousel to X-Lite?

Carousel may not be interoperated with Brekeke. Ask Brekeke Team how to configure it..

Hi Lakeview, thanks for the reply once again,

In the active session's i havent checked but surely will check and let you know, but yes it does show in the call logs, i can provide with those details as well active session details...

Carousel does not have a feature to dial to other UA or x-lite, other than that it can forward the calls coming to it from the PSTn line to another UA or extension..

Yes i wish someone from brekeke team would help me with this :) but i really appreciate your effort at guiding me with this.

If not can you please advice me of any other software which can be used in lieu of carousel as a software VOIP to PSTN gateway? readily and freely available? Thanks buddy.

I need to know what kind of [Status] you can see in [Active Sessions] page..
If it is "Talking", the Carousel can accept a request.
It it is "Inviting" or "Ringing", the Carousel can not accept a request.
If you can not find any [Status], the Carousel rejected a request.
