$geturi( From )

Post by colin2710 »

1. Brekeke Product Name and version: PBX/SIP server 2.2.5.0 Basic (20 users purchased x 2)

2. Java version: jre1.5.0 14

3. OS type and the version: Windows 2000

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved: No hardware, all VOIP providers, Inbound numbers - Voxbone and Magrathea Telecom (VOIP call termination).

5. Network pattern http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/pattern9.html:

6. Your problem: I have seen in the forum some useful dial plans, but sometimes I have seen "$geturi( From )", I can't see/find this command anywhere - has it been replaced with new command, if so - what is it's replacement - anyone help?

there is dial plan tutorial at
http://www.brekeke-sip.com/download/bss ... lan_en.pdf

at section 4: Editing SIP Header
there is sample about how to use

use $geturi(From) in matching patterns to check what is in the From header then you can change the From header in the deploy patterns depending on your need

Hi there Hope,

Many thanks for your reply.

I have seen that dial plan tutorial, but when I go to Matching Patterns, the is NO "$geturi" in the drop down box of variables - it’s just NOT in the list. Am I missing something or have I lost the variable "$geturi".

Below I list the 13 Matching Patterns options (But NO "$geturi")

From
To
Contact
$addr
$date
$localhost
$outbound
$registered
$request
$port
$sid
$time
$transport

I am running a fully licensed paid for version as follows: "Brekeke PBX, Version 2.2.6.2 , Basic, ID: (Number removed for security reasons), Users: 20, Concurrent: 10"

Is there something wrong/missing in my copy?

Not all variables are listed in the variable drop down list.
you can type "$geturi" in the text box and it will work also.

Hi there Hope,

Many thanks for your reply - do you or anyone at Brekeke have a list of these, as this would be very helpful.

Thanks again.

See the section "6.3.1 Matching Patterns" in the Brekeke SIP Server Admin Guide.
You can find "$geturi" there.
