Post by mahesh4555 »

1. Brekeke Product Name and Version:3.9

2. Java version:8

3. OS type and the version:Centos 7

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:

5. Your problem: I tried setting up of gmail server setup in Email settings. smtp.gmail.com,port:587 or 465, pop.gmail.com,port:995, SMTP AND SSL authentications, i tried all combinations of ON and OFF. But when sending mail trough PBX, it shows "Failed to send email.Couldn't connect to host, port: pop.gmail.com, 993; timeout 1200000"

Can anyone help me please ?

The POP port number should be 995 not 993.

My settings:

[SMTP Server] smtp.gmail.com
[SMTP Port] 465
[SMTP authentication] on
[Encrypted Connection (SSL)] on
[POP3 Server] pop.gmail.com
[POP3 Port] 995
[User] MYGMAIL@gmail.com
[Password] MYPASSWORD
[Email address] MYGMAIL@gmail.com

*) In default, [Encrypted Connection (SSL)] might be off but you need to set it on.
