Multiple values for Call Pickup group

Post by nguyen.si.liem »

1. Brekeke Product Name and Version:

2. Java version:

3. OS type and the version:

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:

5. Your problem:
Hi, I can create one Call Pickup group for an extension by this step:
USER -> Settings >Call Pickup group (input the Simultaneous Ring group here)

But I wonder is there anyway to input multiple groups into "Call Pickup group" filed?
That means, an extension can do pickup for multiple groups.

Dear Prett,

My Brekeke version is
Brekeke PBX, Version 3.4.5.1, Multi-Tenant

For example, I created 2 Simultaneous Ring group (GroupA and GroupB)
I want to input these 2 groups into [USER -> Settings >Call Pickup group] field and seperate them by colon like this "GroupA, GroupB", but it won't work (just the first GroupA working).

Best Regards,
Brett

Dear Nguyen,

Sorry for late.
You can set it at
Extension ->Inbound ->"Other Forwarding Destinations".

Brett

Dear Brett,
Thank you for your reply.
I think the setting you showd me above is used to set the Call Forwarding, but not Call Pickup group.

Refer:
"If there are destinations specified in the [Other Forwarding Destinations*] field, both the checked phones and the extensions set in this field will receive calls. Each extension’s phones will ring at the same time, then the first person to answer will be connected with the caller."

Hi Nguyen,

I got your point and tried some ways to set multiple groups into "Call pickup group" field, but It couldn't work well.

If you want to set multiple group, you may have to create a new group for Call pickup group like follows;

1. Create 2 Simultaneous Ring groups (GroupA and GroupB).
2. Create a group PG_AB which have Group A and B as ring group.
3. set PG_AB into "Call pickup group" field at a extension.

Best regards,
Brett

Dear Brett,

What a nice idea!

At least, I know that there is no way to input multiple values into "Call pickup group".

Thank you so much. :D

Hello Mr Liêm,

We can make call to multiple group,
You will make 3 group:
EX: - pickup_08352674 with group extension: 1000,1001,....
- pickup_08352675 with group extension : 1003,1004,...
- pickup_08352688 with group extension : pickup_08352674,pickup_08352675
At ARS setting, you must set call to pickup_08352688
Just try !
