Oddity: "sip:" sometimes needed in To: and sometim

Post by woody2 »

1. Brekeke Product Name and version: 2.1.6.6 & 2.2.1.6

2. Java version: 5 rev14

3. OS type and the version:

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/ ... terns.html :

6. Your problem:

Can any of you experts shed light on an oddity for me? On PBX/SIP v2.1.6.6 it seems that a Dialplan To Deploy field does not have to start with "sip:" in order to route properly to a SIP address. But on 2.2.1.6 it does need the prefix "sip:".

Has this changed between versions?

Hi woody2,

Sorry for the confusion.
The version 2.2.1.6 expects "sip:" in the front of SIP-URI in the Deploy Pattern.
But with the next version, you can omit "sip:" as well as the version 2.1.

Thanks
