1. Brekeke Product Name and version: Brekeke SIP server v2.4.8.6 Standard
2. Java version: 1.5.17
3. OS type and the version: Windows Server 2008 sp2
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved: Avaya CM and Rauland Respond 5 T11
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html : Unknown
6. Your problem:
I am a Rauland integrator, we are attempting to integrate the Rauland system with the hospitals wireless phones using TAP/SIP hybrid solution. We are able to send out the TAP message and it is getting to the phones. Our problem comes when they attempt to execute the dial back string which looks like 9222253*5307*1 or 9222253*5307*101 the wireless phone wait about 10 second before dialing in the shorter string. It appears that the Avaya system waits for the full string then when it doesn't get it, it then dials the number. Longer string works fine and everything else is fine, we are getting two way audio. The 10 second delay though is unacceptable.
Break down of dial string:
9 /2222 /53 /* /5307/* /101/
get dial tone/hunt group/area/delimiter/room/delimiter/bed
My question is can the Brekeke SIP server take the place of the Avaya SIP Enablement Services to create full SIP integration on the Nurse Call side?
If not anyone reading the full background story know any solutions for this issue?
Please and Thank you in advance for any advice. |

Correct the Avaya hand set to the Brekeke to the Responder. The call strings are 13 or 15 digits.
9222253*5307*1
9222253*5301*101
I just need to know if Brekeke performs the same function as the Avaya SES. |

If you push "#" after you dial a shorter string at a phone, does it solve the problem? |

It would but the middleware vendor they went with is unable to add that #. |

I suppose there is a configuration to tune this delay at the phone or Avaya server. |
