1. Brekeke Product Name and version:
SIP Server 2.0.7.2 Evaluation
2. Java version:
Version 6 Update 3
3. OS type and the version:
Window XP professional
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html :
pattern 1
6. Your problem:
Not able to start the SIP server.
Administrative Tools -> Service -> Brekeke SIP Server -> Start
Error: Windows could not start the Brekeke SIP Server on Local Computer.
From system event log:
The Brekeke SIP Server service terminated with service-specific error 0 (0x0).
The Brekeke SIP Server service entered the stopped state.
The Brekeke SIP Server service was successfully sent a start control.
Anyone knows what the error code 0 refers to? |

I am having the same issue on a clean install of 2k3 server. I just installed Java today. Getting Error code 0 as well.
Java version info:
1.6.0 (build 1.6.0_03-b05)
Brekek:
2.0.7.0

Found the answer in another topic:
1. Uninstall Brekek and Java 6. (I did a reboot after this)
2. Install Java 1.5.11 also called Java JRE 5 update 11
3. Install Brekeke again.
Now the Brekeke service will start without problems. |
