ARS failover to call queue on outbound call

Post by havard »

1. Brekeke Product Name and Version: Brekeke PBX 3.8.2.4/489

2. Java version:1.8.0_121

3. OS type and the version:Windows Server 2016 Standard

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:

5. Your problem:
Hi, I got a strange demand, to place the outgoing call into a call queue if the user do not answar or is offline. is it possible to route the outgoing call in to a call queue?
For instance by using "ARS Outbound Route Failover" to an extension setup for call queue, and back to call again if the user get available?

Open for other sugestions :-)

Hi Havard,

>and back to call again if the user get available?
What does "available" mean?
Does it mean that UA is registered? If so, a callee may not be there even if phone is registered...

Anyway, I'm afraid there is no such queue that can store the calls which PBX should dial again later.

I recommend to ask tech support of brekeke.

Thank you

Hi again,

A change to my orignal question. I wonder if this is possible or not.

I need to limit outgoing calls from my Brekeke PBX, to an external SIP-server, to max 10 simultaneously calls.
Outgoing call number 11, when there already is 10 calls ongoing, need to be placed in a queue until a "line" out is available.

The external SIP-server is a Brekeke SIP-server version 3.
