Brekeke Forum Gurus,
Hey, what's going on!
Sooo, my boss is very interested in trying out this new version, we have a spare Dell Poweredge 1950, and with the way I know how to install this setup, I loaded Centos OS fine (Server No GUI) with iptables disabled and eth0 has all iptables and SELinux set to "off"
I install VSFTPd and grab all the needed files for install, first load the jdk.rpm.bin to /usr/local,and then install that first. Then gunzip tomcat in the same directory to make the webapps. Finally took the sip.war file and put that in webapps. Loaded that, and ran /usr/local/..../startup.sh. It gives the startup like normal when in the 2.x version install, but when you try to bring up the IP:8080/proxy page,it's just showing tomcat and giving the HTTP 404 page.
What am I doing wrong here? I'm thinking maybe try a newer version of Tomcat? Like 7.x? Please advise!
