Inbound Voip numbers from TTNC UK

Post by Mak »

1. Brekeke Product Name and version: 2.2.6.2/276

2. Java version: 1.6.0_11

3. OS type and the version: Linux 2.6.18-92.1.13.el5.028stab059.3

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved: HT 486, XLite & Quintum DX2060

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/ ... terns.html : Pattern 5

6. Your problem: Thanks to the forum I have been able to make a successful call from HT 486 to Xlite both on same network.
But the problem I would appreciate your help is that we have UK inbound Voip numbers from TTNC (02089591000-50) which has been diverted to a sip address which is the same address as the BSS ;

BSS IP address = 78.129.222.40
sip.digi.co.uk IP address = 78.129.222.40

e.g
02089591000@sip.digi.co.uk

What dial plan shall I use to call and accept calls to the above number.

Thanks to the forum I have also used the below dial plan to send external calls to the Quintum:

Mathing patterns

$request=^invite
To=sip:9(.+)@

Deploy patterns

To=sip:%1@78.129.222.45

Is there any other dialplan I would need ?

Many Thanks for your assistance

Mak,

>> 02089591000@sip.digi.co.uk

Do you want to make a call to this number?
Or.. do you want to accept a call from this number?

Is it a phone number for a registered SIP client?

Hi Taitan,

Thanks for the response.

Yes I would like to accept a call and make a call to and from this number. Ideally calls to other registered clients would be accepted all the tme and calls to non registered clients would be sent to the Quintum IP address.

And yes this is a phone number for a registered client.

Cheers

Since a client is registered , you don't have to create a dialplan.. I think.

Is your call rejected currently?

Is "78.129.222.45" a HT 486 ?

Hi Taitan,

Yes the call is rejected currecntly I get the bellow error "Carrier has not accepted the call "

78.129.222.45 is the IP address of Quintum which would handle all offnet calls when the user dials 9 first.

Many Thanks for your assistance.

Do you know what kind of SIP response code is it?
Can you paste the response packet here?

If you make a call from alternative SIP client such as X-Lite, does the same issue happen?

No mate, I dont know the Sip response code .....

You know The Novero platform from TTNC is very similar control panel to the Voxbone's control panel......

I gather I would need a dialplan to aknowledge/accept SIP request from 02089591000@sip.digi.co.uk and then pass the call to the registered user agent (02089591000@192.168.2.4....)

Well Mak,,

>> call to the registered user agen (02089591000@192.168.2.4....)

If you dial this number from XLite, does the 02089591000 ring?

In your dialplan..
"$request=^invite" should be "$request=^INVITE".

You can make a call to your mate even if the phone doesn't ring.. right?

While you are ringing to your mate, what kind of [Status] can you see in the [Active Sessions] page?

Also.. check the phone's settings or speaker... "ring" might be disabled..
