DID Caller ID

Post by ka2qhg »

1. Brekeke Product Name and version:Brekeke sipserver 2.0

2. Java version:1.5

3. OS type and the version:Server 2003

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
Linksys PAP2, SPA3102, ect

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/ ... terns.html :4

6. Your problem: I am using a DID number with Callcentric. When you dial 555-XXXXXXX it forwards it to sip:1234@my-server.
The incoming caller id shows the phone number that called my did number. Callcentric does not send the callers name.

I would like it to show the callers name and phone number.
I have tried to Authenticate the users phone number in my users data base, and use that name with no luck.

Thanks for your help.

Centralized support for Sip Farm

Post by telemerchant »

Anybody know if Advance Edition has support for centralized management of sip farm. We are looking for a centralized reporting on max port utilization on our Sip Server Farm.

Anyone has worked with something similar?

Larry,

Please check the Dial Plan Tutorial.

The "Ex 31 Changing the caller's display name" will help you.

To Mohney
I have a dial plan like that now

Matching pattern
$request=^INVITE
$geturi(From)=(sip:1555XXXXXXX@.+)

Deploy pattern
From="John Smith"<%1>
$replaceuri=true
Alert-Info=Bellcore-r4.

I don't want to have a dial plan for each number if possible.

Thanks
Larry

Ok.

So.. try the Alias database.
http://www.brekeke-sip.com/wiki/index.p ... i=df05855a

With Alias database, you don't have to create a dial plan for each number.

I am using the standard version and am unable to use $alias.
I will try to write my own plug in.
Thanks for your help.
