Hi Peng
I have switched things around so that this is not longer an issue (using VPN now). However, it was the same with both X-Lite and Kapanga.
I suspect a problem with the router I was using, which was a Draytek 2800VG. I wasn't using the voice side of it, but there didn't seem to be any way to turn it off, so it is possible that the router was responding inappropriately to requests to port 5060 arriving at the public interface. I had set to forward to my Brekeke PBX/SIP server, but maybe there was an issue there.
I have swapped out the 2800VG with a 2800V at the external site, and the GXP2000 started registering, but I continued to have problems with outgoing calls to the GXP2000, so I went to VPN.
Thanks
Steve
