If the Messagenet manager can send SIP-REGISTER, add the SIP user in the Brekeke PBX.

If you want to use the messagenet manager as a SIP trunk, configure Brekeke PBX's ARS to connect to the Messagenet manager.

hi thanks for the answer
yes I would like to configure it as a trunk, I have already configured it with 3CX and it was very simple but with brekeke it is more complex the data available to me are:

Your new telephone number is: +39 1234567 (invented number for example)

URI (SIP Client Identifier) 5**********
Password **********
SIP Server sip.messagenet.it:5061

at this point I have to enter these data in ARS, but I didn't register, I did this

Register URI: sip:sip.messagenet.it:5061 (I also tried removing 5061)

Proxy Address: sip.messagenet.it:5061 (I also tried removing 5061)

User: 5**********
Password: *********

but it doesn't register
what am I doing wrong?

Hi,

It looks your Register URI is wong.

I think it should be like,
sip:5xxxxxx@sip.messagenet.it:5061

Thank you

I tried in every way, even as you suggest, but the answer is always this:
Register failed (403 SIP/2.0 403 Forbidden) - sip:5***********@sip.messagenet.it:5061

the credentials are correct, on a 3CX PBX it works perfectly

Hi,
Please check the following points.

- On the server where brekeke is running, the domain "sip.messagenet.it" can be resolved properly.

-If the node "sip.messagenet.it" is located on public, you may need to set public address at [SIP SERVER] > [Configuration] > [System] >[Network].

from the PC where brekeke is installed I ping sip.messagenet.it and replies OK so he sees it.
I don't understand what you mean, I can't set a public IP on the network otherwise the phones will no longer see the switchboard brekeke
but sorry i don't understand, why in 3CX it's so trivial to configure a messagenet trunk with unser and password and in brekeke it must be impossible°? what's different?

Hi,

You don't have to set a public IP on the network interface of the server, but at the Webadmin tool > [SIP SERVER] > [Configuration] > [System] > [Network] >[Interface address 1], set your gateway address(public IP) that communicates to sip.messagenet.it.

If your problem still exists, I recommend you ask brekeke tech support.
