Are we okay to remove Apache Tomcat and still keep the Brekeke SIP proxy running on a Windows server? I have a client that has some security concerns regarding an audit that he is doing. He needs to remove Apache Tomcat from the dialer and I am afraid to do that to not impact the Brekeke SIP proxy. I need to know if it is okay to remove this individually.
Apache Tomcat - can it be removed on Windows systems

Does the hiding of the Tomcat port meet the requirement? If so, use an firewall to hide the port.
How about the using of the latest version of Tomcat if the installed version has any security concerns?
Because the Tomcat is running as web-server for Brekeke SIP Server's GUI, you will lose a way to manage the server if you remove it.
