Hi,
Regarding sip server setup, you can see the manuals.

http://www.brekeke.com/support/sip_document.php

I have not used innomedia, but I think if it is based on SIP protocol it is no problem to run.

Best regards,
Brett

lepetitpoussin,
Did you create a user in the [User Authentication] page? set the same username and password in the phone?

Thank you for your answer. I am studiing how to manage with it following your link.
And I think it does not work because I do not have any dial plan.
I want to do home network, between my two IP phones 5531.
So I cope with the configuration of the dial plan for a local and home network access

Yes I did.
But the interface is very very simple.
You can only enter user and password for a PPPoE connexion.
Otherwise, you can just assing a name.
So I created a user with the same name and without any password.
But nothing....
It seems that MTA 5531 does all by itself but badly... lol.
http://innomedia.com.cn/manuals/MTA5531 ... 20v1.0.pdf

But I really think that I do something wrong.
It should work.
There is no reason... lol
Maybe I should sum up my configuration and do some printscreen.

Do you get any error message on the phone's screen?

Can you see REGISTER in the [Dial Plan]->[History] page?

I only have a small red led that indicates me the network does not run.
Nothing else....
This is very light :D

If you use another SIP client, such as X-Lite, can you register the client and make a call?

ah good idea.
So I tryed.
I have 2 pc on xp, put on each xlite and I confirm, I can do a call.
It works perfectly.
I think I understand some things.
I am gone try something else.
And we will see.
TCP protocol is important.
I will try also with UDP.
So I try to change few parameters, and X-lite stopped.
SO it seems that the configuration is very accurate.
And ... I am lost....

Maybe innomedia is using UDP instead of TCP, but I can not change this parameter....

Hi
Let you open the UDP port 5060 at the firewall running on the SIP Server's XP.
or let you disable the firewall while you are testing.

I tryed.
I think the problem is more about some values or options.
Nothing
i am at the same point
I did all my best

Is it possible to declare the mac address of the phone in a setting file manually.
It could be a solution for me?
What do you think about this proposal ?

Since X-Lite doesn't have the same issue, it seems Innomedia has the problem.

If you capture packets at the SIP Server's PC with Wireshark, can you see any SIP packets sent from Innomedia?

If you can not see any SIP packet sent from the innomedia, it means the phone has the problem.
Contact their tech support.

Oh I am happy, because I can not see any SIP packet.
I thought I should hihihihi.
So it means, it is right.
So what should I do.
Proposal 1, I think I am gooing to buy a innomedia SIP server that I could set to any asterix or brekeke server.

proposal 2, try more ... lol

Does the Innomedia 5531 support SIP??
Update phone's firmware.

Let you try UDP for SIP at first.
