SIP server validation failed

Post by Neil »

1. Brekeke Product Name and Version: SIP 3.2.4.3 standard

2. Java version: 7 update 1

3. OS type and the version: Windows 2008

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:

5. Your problem: SIP server gives a 'License validation Failed'. This is / was a licensed system.

I have checked wiki and there was no information available.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Neil

you can try to reactivate the same license from Brekeke SIP Server GUI "Activate License" page or from the activation page which error is showing?

It seems your server internet connection is not stable?

If still not work, you need to report it to license@brekeke.com

The license validation failed. SIP Server will be stopped in 7 days.

some days ago the message was ... stopped in 11 days.
if i try to reactivate , i finally get a
Failed to connect to the license server.

but the sipserver has internet connection , in fact i am managing it remotely.
some idea ?

Which version of Brekeke SIP Server are you using?
Did you choose "Online Activation" when you installed the SIP Server?
Can you send a ping to www.brekeke.com?

It seems "mediatemple.net" blocked your IP..

Can you switch the activation method from the Onine-Activation to the Offline-Activation?

yes, i understand also that mediatemple.net block my ip.
i could switch to offline, but this system is very restrictive from brekeke, because if it happens 2 more times i will lose the rigth to use my license.
what i see is that brekeke is hosted on mediatemple , so finally what is happening is that the hosting service of brekeke is blocking my ip.
I told this to brekeke service and expecting an answer.
thanks for your help

I can ping from several places to www.brekeke.com...
I don't know why mediatemple.net blocked your IP address..
I hope they solve the problem.

my problem is solved. I have my brekeke server hosted in a VPS and other machines in same IP range have been classified as spammer, so my server also enter in a spammer list.
I wrote to spam list admin and get removed from spam list.
After, brekeke ask it internet provider to let pass trough their routers to get to brekeke.com
thanks for your help

This was the thread I was looking for I didn't find in the Brekeke Wiki

I am going to try to re-install Brekeke Sip Server on same machine.
I've had to a few times and hope there isn't a limit on same host.

Brekeke Sip Server Same Host Machine License Validation Limitations:

Q: How many times on the same computer can you re-activate a Brekeke Sip Server License?

A: ???????????????

***I've done the re-activation process quite a few times and still in working order***

I know the 3x transfer machine licensing rule, but for single pc..
How long is the license valid on 1 pc? End of machine's life?
^
In the following scenario, it's installed on XP and stays on XP, and is not planned to be transferred to another pc.
