Brekeke MT PBX Web Page does not want to start

Post by REHANCELLIERS »

1. Brekeke Product Name and version:
Brekeke PBX, Version 2.4.9.0 , Multi-Tenant

2. Java version:
java version "1.6.0_20"

3. OS type and the version:
Windows 2003 Server

6. Your problem:
I just now stopped my Brekeke PBX/SIP services in order to do a backup of the database as I do regularly.

The PBX backed up smoothly, but when I tried to back up the SIP Server’s dial-plans, I got a message that the database could not be reached and that I should restart the server the software was loaded on.

I did that and since then I get the following message when I try and access the PBX Server via its Web Interface (this is from the server itself).

"It appears you are connected to the Internet, but you might want to try to reconnect to the Internet."

I have checked:
1.World Wide Web Publishing Service is running
2.IIS Admin Service is running
3.Web Site is running
4.I have successfully connected to the internet from the server via IE so the Internet connection is there.
5.I have successfully pinged my server on its DNS name – therefore the DNS server is reachable.
6.I have rebooted the server as well as the above mentioned services twice already.

Can someone assist me, all my clients are down!

Regards,

Did you reboot the server machine?

Can you access the PBX's web GUI from the web browser running on the same machine?

Yes, I've rebooted several times.
All was done from the server itself - the PBX's web GUI cannot be accessed from the server either

In the TaskManager tool, can you see Java processes there?

I'm not sure if I'm missing it, but it does not seem like it is running there. Just stuff like explorer.exe, winlogon.exe etc.

What should it look like?

If there are no "java.exe" processes at the TaskManager, it means that the Brekeke PBX doesn't start yet

How did you start Brekeke PBX successfully last time?
Is it the auto start? or manual start?

If you find the "Brekeke PBX" under the Windows Services tool, start the PBX's service there.

Thank you so much for your assistance.

I’ve tried to start the Brekeke Service but get the following:

“Could not start the Brekeke PBX service on local computer.
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly”

Once again, thank you so much for your assistance. You pointed me in the right direction. Windows' registry lost its path to the jvm.dll file.

I linked it again in the registry, rebooted the server and everything is up and running again. :D

Thanks!!!!
