1. Brekeke Product Name and version: Brekeke SIP Server 2.4.8.6 Standard
2. Java version: jre6
3. OS type and the version: Windows 2008 Server
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved: UA Phones
5. Select your network pattern from
http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/ ... terns.html : Pattern 5
6. Your problem:
My Brekeke is public. I would like that RTP messages between the SoftPhones on the same LAN are done without relay on their private address. If I disable RTP relay ($request=^INVITE => $rtp=off) the relay is disabled but the SoftPhones contacts themselfs on the public IP of LAN1 instead of their private IPs.
Is there a way to achieve this ?
Kind regards
Etienne

It depends on softphone.
If a softphone has a feature to detect the public IP address, you need to disable the feature.
If you find the "STUN" or "UPnP" at the setting of the phone, disable it.

Hello,
Ok. After other test, I found that only SoftPhones that support the ICE protocol can achieve this correctly.
Thanks,

One home made SoftPhone... So I think the only way is to implement the ICE protocol on our SoftPhone.
