SCA on Yealink phones

Post by Convergence8 »

1. Brekeke Product Name and version:
SIP Server and PBX 2.4.5.5 M-T
2. Java version:
3. OS type and the version:
Win 2008 R2
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
I'm currently trying to set this up on Yealink SIP-T26P 6.60.0.120 and Panasonic_KX-TGP500B04/12.10, but it wouldn't hurt to know how to do so on Polycom and Cisco phones as well.
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/ ... terns.html : Our setup most closely resembles pattern 9.
6. Your problem:
I can't get this working.
I create users, let's say, 10, 11, and 12, under tenant 1000.
I create a ring group user, 200, that forwards calls to 10, 11, and 12.
I create an ARS rule for SCA called "ARS SCA". It has in and out patterns to send calls where they need to go. LineKey is checked. I'm using a variable for my incoming DID, one for my termination IP (to send calls to our provider), one for the extension I want incoming calls to ring to (pointing to 200, in this case), and one for the tenant. My resource map on extensions 10-12 says
line/1=ARS SCA/1
line/2=ARS SCA/2
line/3=ARS SCA/3

All of my phones are registering their primary line (for example, 100010). I've tried a few things to get the shared line to register, but to no avail. Does the ARS rule need to have credentials to register? I'm unclear on what is supposed to be acting as the UA for the shared lines.

Thanks

is the authentication for register set as ON at sip server side/configuration/SIP?

if so, need to create user authentication account for the shared line.
if there is pbx user 100010, to register a shared line for this pbx user 100010, at phone shared line, set line-100010 and auth user also set as line-100010 also set auth pw.
at pbx/sip server/user authentication, create account as
User: line-100010
pw: the same as set from phone

capture packets and check what response from brekeke for phone shared line register request.

Yes, it is.

Oh, so I actually have to create a line-100010 user. Do I have to set both the user and the Assigned ID to line-100010?

We normally set up users in RadiusCat Billing, though this will not work here because I think it uses numeric instead of varchar for user IDs.

I'll have to try it out and do some sniffing to see what happens.

line-100010 is authentication user not pbx user
if not use radius for authentication, the user line-100010 is created from sip server side/user authentication page

at pbx side, under the tenant 1000, create user 10 and assigned id is 100010
when linekey is checked at ars rule and there is call to ring group with pbx user 10 in the ring group
pbx will send call to line-100010

Ok, so I can create an authentication user line-100010 on the radius server It creates a PBX user for each authentication user that is created, so I used 20 for the PBX user ID. The phone now registers with both 100010 and line-100010. I need to take a moment to set up the rest of the phones. As of right now, when I call in to the ring group, it is just ringing all phones.

Yes, Line key is checked.
If I call in, I can see that the correct ARS rule is being triggered, though the ring group 200, but the calls still just ring to 100010 and 100011.

Thanks for the help so far. It may just be a matter of having the correct setting on the phone side at this point.

Please run wireshark to capture packets at brekeke server and then reboot phone
check if phone send "call info" subscribe from shared line and brekeke should reply "notify" with status of line

I don't think I was getting the call info Subscribe from the shared line, but I didn't look very closely. I had to install the phones I was using to test with. I'm going to give it a fresh shot with a Cisco SPA504g.
