Double dtmf tones passed to UA

Post by ipfreely »

1. Brekeke Product Name and version: sip server

2. Java version:

3. OS type and the version: win2008r2

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/ ... terns.html :

6. Your problem: I have a sangoma net border gateway with pri's connected to the brekeke sip server. The sip server is used to supply sip trunking. I am getting double dtmf tone when the call is passed to a remote Pbx vis sip trunk. I have confirmed that net border is sending dtmf as required RFC 2833. Can I change the way sip server sends dtmf tones? If so how is it done?
Thanks,
Chris

Do you want to get single DTMF tone instead of double DTMF tones?
- or -
Do you want to convert RFC2833 signal to a DTMF tone?

Which PBX product are you using??

I need to get the single dtmf tone. The product I am using as the UA is an NEC SV8100. They only support inband DTMF on SIP Trunks. The double DTMF is causing an issue with inbound calls to the UA's Automated Attendant.
Thanks,
Chris

brekeke pbx can send inband dtmf, brekeke sip server cannot convert rfc2833 to inband dtmf.

Brekeke SIP Server doesn't modify DTMF signal. It means the SIP Server doesn't cause the double DTMF problem.

Let you clarify the problem.
