Ringback Issue

Post by aislecom »

1. Brekeke Product Name and version:2.4.4.8 Advanced

2. Java version: ver 6 update 18

3. OS type and the version: Windows 2003 server

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved: asterisk, mvts

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/ ... terns.html : 9

6. Your Problem:
Ring back issues with carrier using Genband SBC.

Carrier say we are sending:

100 trying
180 ringing
183 session progress with SDP

Carrier wants:
100 trying
180 ringing with SDP
or
100 trying
183 session progress with SDP

Any suggestions to solve this is welcome. So far I only have this issues with this one carrier who happens to be very large.

Thanks,
Dave

We (Brekeke) are sending:

100 trying
180 ringing
183 session progress with SDP

Carrier wants me (Brekeke) to send:
100 trying
180 ringing with SDP
or
100 trying
183 session progress with SDP

How can I modify Brekeke to send 180 ringing with SDP?

Thanks,
Dave George

i think the 180 and 183 are sent from callee side, brekeke sip server just pass them to caller.
can the callee side sip device be changed to append sdp to 180?

brekeke's another product-pbx can work like a sip ua and its ARS can append sdp to 18x response. i donot think brekeke sip server can do it.

Hi Dave,

Which edition of Brekeke SIP Server are you using?
Is it an evaluation?
