Register Third Party PBX (VOIspeed) through BSS

Post by segelo »

1. Brekeke Product Name and version:2.3.8.4/286

2. Java version:

3. OS type and the version:Windows 2003 Server

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:VOIspeed PBX server

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/ ... terns.html :

6. Your problem:Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to use BSS to register a third party PBX server. I am looking to create users within BSS and create the same users within the PBX server and have users automatically register using BSS. The reason for this, is that I am looking to have a SIP server sit between my IP-PBX and also have a video conferencing server all within the same network and using the same Phone for all the operations. this will probably mean having different numbers to dial for different things.

thanks

Hi

Brekeke SIP Server doesn't make a registration by itself because it is a SIP proxy not SIP UA.
But if your video client supports REGISTER, you can make a registration in your Third Party PBX through Brekeke SIP Server.

Also.. Brekeke PBX can make a registration on behalf of clients.
If you want to have such a feature, I recommend that you use Brekeke PBX.

Hi,

@ Lakeside: Thanks for your response.

I however, have gotten Brekeke to work with my IP-PBX. I can make calls from BSS to my PBX, but I cant seem to make calls from my PBX to Brekeke.

Any Ideas?

Cheers

are you using brekeke sip server or pbx?
What response code to the calls from your pbx to Brekeke?
is the callee a registered user at Brekeke side?
