6. Your problem: xlite softphones will not register after installing new Cisco ASA 5510, receive error on brekeke "Port not ready. Check firewall settings and conflicting applications, then restart machine." Re-installed old software based firewall and clients can register without any problems. Everything is internal, does the Brekeke license service reqire a outbound connection?

I had the same problem. If you followed this guide: http://wiki.brekeke.com/wiki/Error-Fail ... SIP-Server ; and it is still not working for you, make sure its not a networking issue. Make sure your NIC is configured correctly. If you have two installed, just unplug the cable on the LAN side and see if BSS starts without the error.
