Dial Plan

Post by Vincent »

1. Brekeke Product Name and version:Sip/pbx version 2.1.6.6 basic

2. Java version:1.5.0_16

3. OS type and the version:2003 standard edition

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:RadiusCat AAA,Quintum gateway

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/ ... terns.html :

6. Your problem:We provide a calling card service, our customers are asking for a scenario where they'll make a phone call and at the end of the call, the would want to make another call.Normally to make another call, they would have to hang up and dial our access number again but instead of hanging up,they would prefer to press the pound key (#)twice to end the first call and get a fresh voice prompt to dial another number.

My question is,can we create a dial plan that can do this?If yes can someone be kind enough to show me a sample dial plan?

Thanks,
Vin.

Vincent,

It is impossible with DialPlan.
Please look at JTAPI. It will meet your requirement.

Haddas,

Thanks for your response. We actually have JTAPI running in our server.Without JTAPI our IVR wouldn't work.

Since it's possible to create a dial plan that can meet our need.Could you please show us a sample dial plan?

Thanks for your time and kind assistance.

Vincent.

DialPlan can not detect DTMF tones...
So it can not meet your need.

JTAPI can do it.
Also, I suppose PBX's IVR may meet your need...
Contact Brekeke's team. They will give you some advices.
