Ringback tone is cut off after SDP

6. Your problem: I have a PBX connected to the SIP server, and on some calls the ringback tone is being cut off. Here is what's happening:

1) SIP server sends SIP message 180 (ringing) in response of INVITE.
2) When the remote party answers, SIP server sends the SDP in a 200 message.
4) When the PBX receives the SDP, it is closes the one way voice channel for ringback tone. So the user is not able to hear the ringback tones.

In cases where SIP server sends message 183 (Session in progress) instead of 180, and the above problem is not appearing.

Is there a way to force sending of 183 message instead of 180 in the dialplan?

Hi

Which PBX product are you using?? Is it Brekeke PBX or OnDO PBX?

It seems you are using VERY old version...
Update it to the latest version.

The latest Brekeke PBX will not have such a problem.
