Calls from Brekeke to Terminating Gateway

Post by vvenegas »

1. Brekeke Product Name and version: Brekeke PBX 2

2. Java version: last version

3. OS type and the version: XP SP3

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved: QUINTUM AFM200

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/ ... terns.html : 8

6. Your problem: please help me to the following connection:

1.- i have a Quintum gateway registered with a voip carrier.

2.- i have a Brekeke PBX with registered users

i have made an ARS so a user can make a call through the Quintum terminating gateway but when the user makes the call, it appears on screen, proxy authentication required.

i don`t know how to send the voip traffic from Brekeke users to the terminating gateway if that gateway is registered with a voip carrier.
how can i register the Quintum to Brekeke and Voip carrier at the same time?

Brekeke PBX and Terminating gateway has Public IP address.

thanks a lot for your help.

Can X-Lite make a call to other users instead of the terminating gateway?

If you are using INVITE Authentication at Brekeke SIP Server, you should make a user account at the server, and set the same account at X-Lite.

yes, x-lite users can make calls between them but i don`t know how to register the quintum gateway to the brekeke and voip carrier at the same time so users can make calls outside.

It seems you didn't set the ARS correctly because you can make a call between clients but you can not make an outbound call.

Set the VoIP carrier's password in the ARS.
