1. Brekeke Product Name and version: 2.2
2. Java version:
3. OS type and the version: Windows 2003 Server
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
5. Select your network pattern from
http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/ ... terns.html :
6. Your problem:
Is there a way of configuring the SIP Server to accept Request-URIs which are SIP Service URNs ala ECRIT (
http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-e ... ice-urn-07 )
In other words, is there a way of replacing a Request-URI of 'urn:service:sos' with a "real" SIP URI? Currently the SIP Server just sends back a 603 Decline response to the INVITE.
Thanks in advance
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Thank you for using Brekeke SIP Server.
Currently, Brekeke SIP Server doesn't support "ECRIT" but we will support it in a future version
If you need the feature for your coming projects, please contact our sales team (sales@brekeke.com).

OK. Given that ECRIT is not yet supported, can I at least configure SIP Server to accept a call with TO which is a URN? I don't mind changing this URN to a real SIP URI. I just don't want for the SIP Server to return 603 Decline - which is what it does now...
Thanks

Hi Kevin,
There is no way to accept a URN in To header currently.
In a future version, the server will accept it.
Thanks

OK. Do you have any idea when such a version might be available?
Also, is there any way to make this work with the current version using custom dial plans? replaceURI=true parm?
Thanks

Hi Kevin,
The next beta will be available in the next month.
> Also, is there any way to make this work with the current version using custom dial plans? replaceURI=true parm?
Unfortunately, there are no ways to do it with the current version .
Let me know what kind of SIP client you are using.

I see that SIP Server 2.6.2 is now available. Does this version support URNs?

Yes I do. According to the latest ECRIT standards, we must be able to receive IP based 911 (emergency) calls which have a TO header value of 'urn:service:sos'.
I'm unable to receive calls like this through Brekeke since it replies with a 603 Decline on all calls like this.

Hi Kevin,
Thank you for your reply.
It is a good idea to contact our sales team (sales@brekeke.com) and discuss the customization or the release schedule.
Thanks

Is this a customization or is supporting SIP URNs something that you had already planned on providing?

Hi Kevin,
We have the plan to support SIP URNs in a future version but we don't schedule it yet.
If you want to have the feature immediately, it will be a customized version.
Thanks

I thought you said it would be in the next beta out sometime this month? Did I misunderstand you?
