Delay in routing calls within brekekePBX !!

Post by Niggy »

1. Brekeke Product Name and version: 2_0_7_2_

2. Java version: 1_5_0_11

3. OS type and the version:win server 2003

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
x-lite spftphone, grandstream GXW410x FXO gateway

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/ ... terns.html : 2

6. Your problem:
Hi everyone,
We have a small LAN in our office with a brekeke PBX system runing, everything seems to b working fine, but im confused about 1 thing when i call the auto attendant from extentions 1 & then dial extention 2, it tooks too long till the call reach extenton 2 (about 18-20 seconds) its really long time for a small LAN (about 20 PCs). this also happen when some1 call from PSTN to our VOIP.

I wonder why this Delay is happening :!: :?: :?

Hi,

It most likely is because of the max digits setting in the user screen for ivr. If you are using 2 digit extensions then set the max digits to 2. You see, Brekeke has to try to guess when you are done typing your digits in so they put a long delay in there so they don't assume you want extension 20 when you are typing 2000.

Same Problem

I'm having this same problem but changing the Max Etension Length did not help. I set this to "3" because we are using 3 digit extensions. Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Greg
