Outgoing Calls can't hear ring

when i make a call out i am unable to hear a ring, but the phone actualls does ring.
is there any settings that i need enable this?

6. Your problem:
when calling out to a land line threw a voip provider i can not hear the usual "ring". getting voice traffic both ways no problem. just in the initial dialing and waiting for the other party to answer there is no ring.

Maybe i am not explaining it correctly..

After dialing i do not hear the ringing tone, but there is a connection once the call gets answered. can brekeke generate the ringing tone, or is this done through the ITSP?

anyone?
