Adding header

Post by Balajee Nagarajan »

1. Brekeke Product Name and version:
2.0.7.2
2. Java version:
1.5
3. OS type and the version:
Linux
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/ ... terns.html :

6. Your problem:

Plan to use Brekeke SIP server as a signaling proxy with a bunch of phones registered to the proxy.
Need to know if it is possible to add a auto answer to the INVITE that goes from Brekeke to the phones.

Sounds like you are trying to tackle paging yes? You should be able to add the header generic "Call-Info: answer-after=0". This project is on our list of to-do's also and my understanding is it will work if you know the hard phone supports it. Xlite doesn't.

Keep in mind that the phones will always auto-answer so a way must be found to only auto-answer calls intended for paging if paging is your objective.

thanks for the reply.
I know that my hard phone supports this header (polycom). Where and how do I add this header?
