1. Brekeke Product Name and Version: 2.4.8.6

2. Java version:

3. OS type and the version:

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved: X-lite softphone, Avaya oneX communicator

5. Your problem: We have a SIP trunk built from a Avaya Session Manager 6.3 to the Brekeke server. I can successfully dial from a Avaya oneX communicator client to x-lite softphone client registered with the brekeke server with no issues. However, I can not dial from an avaya one-x client registed with the session manager to a Rauland nurse call device registerd with the brekeke server. I can see the call in the active sessions but the status of the call never changes from "inviting"to talking.

I also have a SIP trunk built from a Cisco CUCM 8.5 to the brekeke server and can successfully dial from a cisco endpoint registered SCCP to the cucm to a Rauland nurse call device registerd with the Brekeke. This call is successful with the status of the call changing to talking and audio can be heard on both sides.

I can't figure out why the call from the avaya session manager to brekeke won't connect and continues in the inviting state.

Has anyone run into this before.

Thanks.

RB

Hope, thanks for the reply. I did find this document earlier and had a hard time figuring which resolution was applicable to my issue. The trunk doesn't go through the avaya switch/signaling group so I couldn't add the SDP there as in example one on the Avaya side. I tryed to add it as in option two on the Brekeke side with no luck.

But I'm not sure SDP is the issue. Is there a trace on the Brekeke server where I can see what the system is recieving/missing?

add the following in Brekeke "Configuration"/"Advanced" page

net.listener.loglevel.file=255
net.sip.loglevel.file=255
net.tcp.loglevel.file=255

then restart brekeke SIP server

make call from avaya to brekeke

find the file "sv.201402xx.xx.log" after restart
which should be under
C:\Program Files\Brekeke\sip\webapps\sip\WEB-INF\work\sv\log\2014\02\

you can also use wireshark to capure packet at Brekeke server

And it is better to send question to support@brekeke.com if you have account with them.
the issue may solve faster.

Do you have any DialPlan rules which match a call sent to Rauland?
Since the Rauland device is registered in the Brekeke SIP Server, you don't have to have any DialPlan rules.
so let you disable all of DialPlan rules for narrowing the problem.

Also make a test call from X-lite to the Rauland device.

Avaya's configuration should be accurate and it should include SDP in INVITE.
