1. Brekeke Product Name and version:

2. Java version:
3. OS type and the version:
CENTOS 5.7
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html :
6. Your problem:
i'm sending to a DNS-SRV name but according to the carrier its not sending to the priority their SRV record is saying. they have 6 different ip address but i will send to one ip until the DNS refreshes and its not load blanacing between ip's
i'm assuming i haven't set something up correctly?
thanks

i don't understand your reply? i'm open to discussing the question.
i'm having DNS SRV issues. the carrier is reporting that i'm sending to an A rrcord in the DNS settings and not to the SRV part of the record. is this a configuration issue?

Hi
At first, are you sure that DNS SRV records are correctly defined in the DNS server?
Can you send a ping from the SIP server's PC to the DNS server's IP address?
Do you have "net.dns.srv=false" or "net.dns.srv=off" in your SIP server settings?
If yes, remove it because "false" or "off" setting disables the DNS-SRV.
Otherwise, check the DNS settings again.
For DNS based load-blanacing, "priority" and "weight" must be tuned. |
