1. Brekeke Product Name and version: 2.4.8.6/286.3
2. Java version: 1.6.0_27
3. OS type and the version: Windows 2003 / 5.2
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved: sJphone
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html : Pattern 8
6. Your problem:
Hello,
I have 2 Gateways I need to connect to, for outgoing calls, one that needs SIP registration with username/password, the other does not need authentication.
The Gateway without authentication is working fine, I need to know the dialplan I should use, in order to authenticate/register with a SIP GW to be able to send outgoing calls through it.
BR,
Jo |

Hello, how can i send the username/password to the outbound GW?
If I have the folllowing setup:
Phone --> Brekeke SIP server -> Outgoing GW
I want to be able to send calls to the SIP server without registering, and I need the SIP server to register to the outgoing GW |

set username and pw at caller phone setting,
if use one user name and pw for all calls, brekeke pbx ARS feature can send register and username and pw for authentication
Brekeke sip server doesnot have this feature |

Jo
Which gateway product are you using?
Does the gateway require authentication for accepting a call from SIP server?
Are you sure?? I never heard of such a gateway product. |

is the authentication username and pw sending from caller and each caller uses different authentication username and password for call to this gateway?
if yes, set username and password at caller phone setting and create dial plan rule at brekeke sip server to route these calls to gateway without checking authentication at brekeke server side.
or need brekeke to send authentication username and password for calls to this gateway and all calls to this gateway will use the same username and password no matter who calls?
if this is the case,
either set as above then brekeke sip server will forward the authentication information from caller to gateway
or need to use Brekeke pbx ARS feature, then brekeke pbx will send authentication information to gateway. |
