1. Brekeke Product Name and version: Brekeke PBX, Version 2.4.7.3 , Multi-Tenant
2. Java version: 1.6.0
3. OS type and the version: Windows Server 2008
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html : 5
6. Your problem:
Brekeke SIP Server stopped without known reason.
Last log shows:
=======================================
sv: listener-phase=1
sv: exit-code=0f
sv: exit-time=06/07/11 08:36:29.190
sv: total.mem=66650112 free.mem=20736 thread=18
sv: Sayonara!
I couldn't find any documentation about exit_code=0f.
Do you know what caused the server to stop?
I started it again without problems. |

I don't know "exit-code=0f"...
Does the same problem happen always? |

One known cause could be a heavy bandwidth sip attack trying to guess your login and password for a Brekeke user. On less powerful processors i have seen Brekeke overwhelmed and shut down. |

|
|
I couldn't find any sign of a SIP attack in the log.
It happened before to us, but after that we applied the Brekeke's recommended security settings/dialplan.
Last Friday (24-06-2011) the server stopped again, but with a different exit-code and a more explicit error:
SIP-error: 90
Internal-error: 2
java-use-memory: 63.56 MB (65085.67 KB 66647728 Byte)
java-free-memory: 0.00 MB (2.33 KB 2384 Byte)
java-total-memory: 63.56 MB (65088.00 KB 66650112 Byte)
java-max-memory: 63.56 MB (65088.00 KB 66650112 Byte)
listener: Exception: 06/24/11 10:56:16.372
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
sv: listener-phase=1
sv: exit-code=0
sv: exit-time=06/24/11 10:56:24.402
sv: total.mem=66650112 free.mem=34800 thread=17
sv: Sayonara!
Now, I think it might be the same problem, because in the other log the line:
sv: total.mem=66650112 free.mem=20736 thread=18
Shows not much free memory too.
Would you know how to increase this Java max memory from 64MB to something bigger?
(The server has 6GB of RAM, memory shouldn't be a problem..)
Thank you again. |
