1. Brekeke Product Name and version: Brekeke SIP Server 2.4.7.3/268.1
2. Java version: 1.6.0_22
3. OS type and the version: Windows XP SP3
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved: xLite
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html : 1
6. Your problem: Im trying to setup a basic network between two users, but I am having trouble with setting up the softphone.
Basically Brekeke Server is online and running and the IP details on the net-book running Brekeke are the following:
192.168.0.3
255.255.255.0
I added a user with the following credentials:
User:555
Password:password
Name:xLite
I then installed xLite on my macbook which is running OSX 10.6.6.
The credentials on that account are:
UserID:555
Domain:192.168.0.3
Password:password
Name:xLite
Now for some reason xLite does not accept this and I am getting the error 408.
Is there a problem with my Brekeke settings or xLite.
Thanks
Jono. |

Are you sure you got the error 408??
It means "Request Timeout"..
Can you send a ping from the macbook to the net-book?
If you are using a firewall on the net-book, you need to open the UDP port 5060 there. |
