|
|
1. Brekeke Product Name and version: 2.4.4.8
2. Java version: 1.6
3. OS type and the version: CentOS 5.5
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html :
6. Your problem:
I am looking to use BSS to register a SIP trunk to a service provider and am not sure how to use the deploy pattern to do this. I have BSS on the edge of my internal and external network as a sort of Border Controller (2 NICS, one internal, one external). I would like to register SIP trunks to my provider (Callwithus.com is one of them) and then proxy the calls to and from my internal Asterisk servers.
Would someone please give me nudge in the right direction on how to use Registration? Until I hear back I will be in the corner quietly reading the manual.
Thanks,
Perry |

After some digging, I found this thread.
In a nut shell, you would need to register from the Asterisk to a UA on the Proxy and then have Upper Registration to the ITSP.

It works like a charm! |

Hi,
Also, you can use Thru Registration.
With the Thru Registration, you need to define provider's IP address at Asterisk side..
so.. the Brekeke SIP Server forwards Asterisk's REGISTER to the provider. |
