|

1. Brekeke Product Name and version:
PBX w/ SIP Server 2.4.3.0/286
2. Java version:
1.6
3. OS type and the version:
Windows 2008
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
Polycom 550 & X-Lite
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html : 3
6. Your problem:
I just installed the software and can't get the X-Lite softphone to connect from the internet. It works fine from inside the network, but when I try to connect from home tt givies me the error 408 request timeout. I have gotten it to register several times without changing anything, but then it loses the connection and I notice several duplicate registration entries.
I have disabled the windows firewall.
I have ports 10000-10999, 11000-11999, 12000-12999, and 5060 NATed from my external IP to the internal IP of the server on UDP and TCP.
On the SIP admin panel I have set the Interface Address 1 to the outside ip address of the server.
I have also tried enabling UPnP, but that didn't make a difference. Also on my polycom phone it will not recieve calls, but I can place a call to the X-Lite on my internal network. The softphone receives the call, but the polycom phone doesn't acknowledge that a call was able to be placed.
Please help.
Thanks,
Matt |

each time you registered xlite from home, you can see its registration record from pbx sip server / registered clients?
it seems the register response from brekeke cannot be received by xlite at home.
is there any firewalll on the pc where xlite is at? |

I turned the firewall off on the pc and still has the same problem.
I used a network analyzer on the server and saw that when my x-lite is trying to register I see a status 404 NOT FOUND message. |

Do you have any DialPlan rules at Brekeke SIP Server?
I think you have DialPlna rule which rejects REGISTER. |
