1. Brekeke Product Name and version: Brekeke PBX 2.2.6.2 , Pro

2. Java version: 1.6.0_11

3. OS type and the version: Windows 2003 (5.2)

4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved: Grandstream HT-486

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html : 9

6. Your problem: would like to setup 'fake' ringback tone for UA when calling outbound. Any help deeply appreciated.

It seems to be a CODEC issue the lack of ringback tone. We got it when we use PCMU and not when G.729. But some routes do not accept PCMU. Any idea how to solve this?

you need to buy G729 from brekeke
http://wiki.brekeke.com/wiki/Sales_Questions:Sales_Questions_-_Brekeke_PBX:How_do_I_add_codec_G.729_license_to_my_Brekeke_PBX%3F

and then set [Codec Priority ] in the ars for the route to 18 to use G729 codec when sending call to the route

It is not a matter of codec licenses. I have 'em already.

It seems to be a incompatibilty of G729 versions. Endpoint uses G729r8 and G729br8 and Brekeke PBX uses G729ar8 (as I saw here on forum). Is that correct?
