1. Brekeke Product Name and version: Latest SIP server version
2. Java version:
3. OS type and the version: Windows
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html :
Patter 1
6. Your problem:
We just purchases the SIP server. We had two phones register to the server. We are using your product to test our SIP ALG for our firewall. The Server is behind a firewall with an ALG attached.
When we make a call from UA1 to UA2, we see that the Server is changing contact information/SDP information so that the ACKs are sent to the server address. This seems like B2BUA behavior, however, the Server DOES NOT change the SIP dialog (callid, tag, etc). Our firewall sees the fact that the same dialog has changed its contact information mid-stream and we block the the transaction.
Can you please explain why your product behaves this way? It appears to us to be a bug. the server seems to be trying to act as a B2BUA but is not changing the proper headers.
We have just purchase this product and would like to see this issue resolved.
Thanks,

Go to [Configuration]>[Advanced] and add a parameter like below.
net.sip.replacecontact=false
I have never tried this. But I notice this parameter in the version history. |

All,
using the parameter:
net.sip.replacecontact=false
as stated by peng worked. Thanks.
We are using our Alcatel-Lucent Brick VPN firewall product. I am responsible for the QA tesing of the SIP ALG feature of this product.
Thanks for all of your help.
