Hi Niggy,
From your explanation, it seems the PSTN has a cause..
How are you connecting the PBX to the PSTN?
Are you using FXO gateway?
or, are you using a VoIP provider??
Let me know it. |

Hi Niggy,
Which audio codec are you using at the Grandstraem gateway?
If you use another audio codec, does a voice quality improve? |

I would suggest upgrading your Grandstream GXW410X to the newest Firmware version 1.0.1.10.
Seems to deal alot with voice quality as well as other 'wierd' issues facing the Grandstream.
You will find it here www.grandstream.com/BETATEST
Still doesn't solve my issues though Niggy, you seem to have solved the 1 stage dialing problem, any way you can pass that knowledge to me _________________ "Life is a journey not a Destination" |

Also if you need to do the firmware update, refer to this link for help upgrading the firmware. Warning though, once you update to this version, you cannot downgrade to any previous releases.

Wish you the best, and hopefully it helps you to pass along your knowledge of the GXW 410X series
I am still stuck trying to get the GXW4108 to do 1 stage dialing
