How would I create a matching pattern that is the equivalent to this pseudo code:
if(remote party id != from)

is it shown in any SIP header? |

Do you mean "Remote-Party-Id" header?
Try this.
$str.equals($getUri(From), $getUri(Remote-Party-Id)) = false |
