1. Brekeke Product Name and Version: SIP server 3.3.8.1
2. Java version:
3. OS type and the version:
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:ASCOM
5. Your problem:I can not get the R5 stations to register on the SIP server, I have authentication turned off as recommended by Rauland and have the Interface IP set correctly. Do I need a dial plan in place to get them to register? |

Have you restarted the Brekeke SIP Server after you disabled the "authentication"? |

Yes, I did restart the server. I'm guessing I must have some setting wrong. I can see the R5 RGS sending the register message but it always comes back failure. |

What SIP response code did you get from the SIP server?
Can you see any activities at the Dial Plan's History page? |

No nothing on the dial plan history. In this application the R5 system is not going to dial the phones, it is only sending a TAP message to the phone. The user will have the ability to dial back into the room through the Brekeke. In this instance I am told I do not need a dial plan. Is this the case? I still cannot get the R5 devices to register on the Brekeke as clients though. |

DialPlan History page shows the list of received SIP requests include REGISTER even if you don't have any DialPlan rules.
If there is no REGISTER shown in the list, it means R5 didn't send REGISTER.
Let you check the R5's setting again.
[SIP Proxy Address] and [SIP Registration Server] in R5 setting should indicate the Brekeke SIP Server's IP address. |
