|
|
1. Brekeke Product Name and Version:
Brekeke SIP server advanced 2.4.8.6/286.3
2. Java version:
1.6.0_24
3. OS type and the version:
Linux Ubuntu 10.10
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
Lync client & MS Lync 2010 server
5. Your problem:
Brekeke server is talking is talking directly to a Lync Mediation server using public IP adresses (no nat or firewalls). Whenever the LYNC clients tries to put a call on hold, by sending a=inactive in the re-invite, Brekeke server responds back with lack of "a" parameter, which by default means a=sendrecv. Due to which the call could not be put on hold. How can i fix that problem? Isnt Brekeke RFC3264 compliant? |

It is a known issue at the version 2.4.8.6.
Use the Brekeke SIP Server version 3.x which doesn't have the issue. |

Thanks for the reply.
Is this bug documented anywhere? I can't find any mention of it in the Brekeke wiki...
Is there a way to force the a=inactive attribute to be sent by the BSS? |

Ask Brekeke's support team.
They have a plugin for solving the issue at the version 2.4.8.6.
But I recommend you to use the latest version 3.1.
It's much better. |
