6. Your problem:

Hi Brekeke Guys,

I like the Sip-Server software and I like to buy it for my company, but I have one big issue with it:

Under Windows when I do restart the service or when I restart tomcat under Linux it's impossible to start the sip server again. I alway get the message:
"Cannot open the registered DB. Check entries under configuration Database. Then try to restart Sip-Server."

As I'm using the internal DB there is no configuration.
Under Windows after a reboot the Sip-server is working again under linux not.

What can I do? With this behavior the product is not usable for me.

Thanks in advance

Marco

Refer http://wiki.brekeke.com/wiki/Error--Can-not-open-database

In your case, it seems the previous DB process is using the port..
so.. please wait few seconds after you "stop" the server before you "start" it.

Hi,

I think I've had the two issues:

1. Iptables bocked all connections to the loopback interface.
2. Tomcat was not completely shut down.

Now its working. Thanks for the help.

Best Marco
