1. Brekeke Product Name and version:
Brekeke SIP Server , Version 2.4.3.0
2. Java version:
6.11
3. OS type and the version:
windows server 2008
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:

5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html :5

6. Your problem:
Before connecting a caller to our call center number I want to relay them to a prerecorded message board for 5 seconds.

So I want BSS to relay them to another number, disconnect this number after 5 secs and forward to initially diailed number

Is this doable using a dialplan? If so how to program dialplan?

It seems you need to use Brekeke PBX instead of Brekeke SIP Server because PBX has Auto-Attendant feature.

Brekeke SIP Server can not play any prerecorded messages.

Try it.

Hi Taitan,

I have another platform that will play the message. Therefore not looking for PBX version right now.

What I want BSS todo is setup a call for say 20 seconds to this platform, then disconnect the call and after disconnect route the caller towards another number.

It is possible with a plugin.
Ask Brekeke's team or its reseller to provide a plugin...

Which SIP response code does the message player return?
Is it 180 or 183?
If yes, the Failover feature will meet your requirement.
