1. Brekeke Product Name and version:
Brekeke PBX, Version 2.4.3.9 , Multi-Tenant
2. Java version:
N/A
3. OS type and the version:
Windows 2008 R2 Server
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
N/A
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html :
Pattern 9
6. Your problem:
1) When we configure an ARS rule that contains multiple route variable entries, the max session variable seems to be applied to each route variable entry and not the entire ARS rule.
How can we configure an ARS rule with multiple route variable entries so that the max session variable limits the sessions for the entire ARS rule?
Thanks,

Thanks for your reply.
I have set the max sessions for each In/Out Pattern. The problem is that each Out pattern has multiple route variable entries of which I cannot set the max session for individually.
Any other ideas?
Thanks. _________________ ------

Thanks for your quick reply. I will take a look at it tonight and get back to you with any questions.
I do have another related question:
1) Is there any way to limit the entire ARS rule to a single max session number?
For example, if I create an ARS rule named "Provider 1 Incoming/Outgoing Rule" and in that rule I create one In Rule and one Out Rule. Can I create a situation where I can set a max session variable to "2" so that if there is one incoming call and one outgoing call and either an additional incoming or outgoing call comes in it will be busy?
Thanks. _________________ ------

yes, if all patterns(in/out) are set the max session number in the same ars rule, the next call will get busy, if session reach the max session number |

I did some testing and the results where not exactly what I expected.
I have the following setup:
- 1 ARS rule that includes IN and OUT patterns.
- There are multiple Route Variables for each IN and OUT pattern.
- IN Pattern max session is set to 1
- OUT Pattern max session is set to 1
RESULTS:
1) If more than one call comes in on the SAME IN pattern route variable, then that call is busy.
2) If more than one call goes out on the SAME OUT pattern route variable, then that call is busy.
3) If an incoming call is established and then an outgoing call is made, the outgoing call goes through. (THIS SHOULD BE BUSY)
4) If an incoming call is established that matches route variable number one and another incoming call comes in matching route variable number two then the call goes through (THIS SHOULD BE BUSY)
5) If an outgoing call is established that matches route variable number one and another outgoing call goes out matching route variable number two then the call goes through (THIS SHOULD BE BUSY)
What I want to do is set a max session variable for the ENTIRE ARS Rule even if the rule includes both IN and OUT patterns with multiple matching route variables per pattern.
Is that possible?
Thanks,

Are you referring to the following setting in the ARS:
Disable on failure = "this group"
Thanks,

Thanks!
I simply changed the "Group" from blank to "tranquilnet" and all scenarios seem to work as expected.
Much appreciated. _________________ ------
