1. Brekeke Product Name and version:
Brekeke SIP Server, 2.1.6.6/239
2. Java version:1.6.0_06
3. OS type and the version:Windows 2003, 5.2
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved: xlite softphones
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html : Pattern 1
6. Your problem: xlite softphones will not register after installing new Cisco ASA 5510, receive error on brekeke "Port not ready. Check firewall settings and conflicting applications, then restart machine." Re-installed old software based firewall and clients can register without any problems. Everything is internal, does the Brekeke license service reqire a outbound connection? |

Thanks for the response. I did find this prior to posting my question. The AV is disabled and no firewall is enabled on the server. Does the Brekeke need outbound connectivity for verifying license? |

I had the same problem. If you followed this guide: http://wiki.brekeke.com/wiki/Error-Failed-to-start-SIP-Server ; and it is still not working for you, make sure its not a networking issue. Make sure your NIC is configured correctly. If you have two installed, just unplug the cable on the LAN side and see if BSS starts without the error. |
