1. Brekeke Product Name and version: Brekeke SIP Server for Brekeke PBX, Version 2.3.8.2
2. Java version: 6.0.160
3. OS type and the version: Windows 2008 x64 R2
4. UA (phone), gateway or other hardware/software involved:
5. Select your network pattern from http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/network/networkpatterns.html :
6. Your problem: See Below
HI All,
I'm a "newbie" about PBX/SIP Server contexts.
Now I need to evaluate the product in a lab environment.
I've followed the guidelines at http://wiki.brekeke.com/wiki/#
So, questions are:
a) In the wiki's pages I read this: "Mediation Server's IP addresses are 10.1.10.50 (Inbound: Brekeke SIP Server -> OCS) and 10.1.10.30 (Outbound: OCS -> Brekeke SIP Server)."
IMHO Mediation Server use two IP addresses, one is the "GATEWAY SIDE" used to communicate with the PBX/SIP Server, the second address is used only to communitate to the "OCS SIDE". Could you explain the configuration above?
b) When I configure the Deploy Patterns for the SIP Server, after I save the dialplan rule, I have the "&net.sip.transport.follow.request = true" item in RED color. This means the isn't correct? I've a problem in the configuration?
c) I need to configure the Brekeke SIP Server to a ITSP VoIP provider with a sip trunk. The following settings are the ITSP registration information.
Login 069999999
Password (password)
Dominio voip.eutelia.it
Sip Proxy Server voip.eutelia.it
Sip Proxy Socket 5060
Stun Server stun.voip.eutelia.it
Stun Server Socket 3478
Could you drive me to configure the SIP Server to connect to the ITSP ? Where I must configure this settings? ARS ?
Thanks a lot in advance
Best regards |

What thing do you want to know??

You don't have to care about it. Even if it is red, you can use the variable.
> c) Where I must configure this settings? ARS ?
Yes. you need to set ARS for using ITSP. |

What thing do you want to know??
I want understand why BSS need to contact directly the OCS FE mcu. Only for signaling or authentication?
Or it uses other info (like SDP messages or others description messages) that need to send to the OCS server?
I think that this configuration is needed because BSS acts like a "sip proxy", correct?
So, I take this opportunity to ask to you another question
Could I use Xlite connected directly on BSS and test a voice call from this endpoint to one Office Communicator user "inside" the OCS farm? If yes, how I must configure the Xlite?
Thanks a lot in advance
Best Regards

Brekeke SIP Server and OCS's Mediation server exchange SDP over SIP.

Yes. It is correct.

Yes. You can do that.
At first, you need to register your X-Lite at the SIP Server.
(set the SIP Server's IP address/port at the X-Lite's settings.) |
