6. Your problem:

Hi,

I would like to ask about load balancing. I have read all the topics about it and found that only suggestion is to use PBX because of ASR. I do not want to use PBX. I want to use SIP server with dial plan plug-in (plug-in must be in our planed solution) . I found in previous topics that will be possible to use dial plan plug-in for this (topic http://www.brekeke-sip.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=2255&highlight=balancing Janet answer). Any ideas how to do that? Because we need to know some additional info to program this (like active sessions list and similar things). With current documentation I could not find how to do that.

Thanks
Darius

Do you want to use Brekeke SIP Server as a front-end of Load Balancing?
It is possible with Dial Plan.

http://www.brekeke-sip.com/download/bss/bss_tutorial_dialplan_en.pdf
Refer to the section "Load Balancing".

Do you need to program a Dial Plan plug-in for your purpose?
You may need Brekeke's support.

Hi,

Dial plan tutorial is not the case. I can not send call to gateway not knowing whether some gateway has available free port to complete the call. So I need to write dial plan plugin for this (brekeke support told that this is possible using dial plan plugin) but to program this I lack information so I hope to get response from support on this forum first.
BTW. Dial plan plugin we will use not only for load balancing and I already have programmed that part but load balancing is still issue for my case.

Hi Darius

>> some gateway has available free port to complete the call.

Does the gateway return any SIP response if it doesn't have any free port?

>> So I need to write dial plan plugin for this but to program this I lack information

Did you read the plug-in development guide? right?
